Sheep Sorrel Tea

Sheep Sorrel, also known as sour weed, is an herb known for it's tart taste and powerful health benefits. Commonly described as a weed, this plant can be created into a tea that boasts both nutritional and health benefits. The fresh leaves are edible and can be enjoyed in salad and soups for their tasty tart and lemony flavor. It provides vitamins and minerals including vitamin C, vitamin A, calcium, potassium and zinc! 

Sheep Sorrel contains tannins that act as a drying agent to reduce mucus production and when combined with other herbs such as Elderflower or Verbena, is very successful at reducing inflammation in the nasal passages. Sheep Sorrel is also used to relieve general inflammation, act as a diuretic, promote heath digestion and relieve menstrual cramps.
